THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!
Um, just so you guys know, this is NOT for my homework!!!! This is for Speech, like the club???? I just need some ideas please!!1

No offense or anything, but people on here won’t do your homework for you. As long as you have an answer or an analysis from supporting details in the story, then you will be fine. It’s all about taking examples from the poems and justifying your answer. It doesn’t have to be correct. This used to torment me in my literature class, too.

why does he always cry at meal times?
my son is 7 and a half months old and recently weaned. he loves food and eats well but every meal time has turned into a bit of battle with him crying and i don’t know how to stop it before it turns into even more of a habit. he’ll sit in the high chair and eat or on my knee but either way he really crys and its very frustrating spooning food into his mouth and him, crying in between times. distractions like toys don’t work i’ve tried, sometimes its as he’s thirsy and is ok once hes had a drink but normally i can’t see why plus he doesn’t cry for food earlier than when i feed him. please help as it ruins our day as its the only time he crys.

Maybe he’s just frustrated because he’s hungry and can’t seem to get the food in fast enough. I mean, eating a spoonful at a time, chewing and swallowing all takes much longer than just gulping back the milk. You could perhaps try sitting him in his high chair with a few bits of finger foods on his tray whilst you prepare his main meal, that might take the edge off his hunger. Other than that, I don’t really know. Just persevere and try not to react to the crying. Good luck. x

have a read up on baby led weaning to see if you can find anything to help you there. It requires you simply to offer baby finger foods, which they just play with, or gum or whatever they feel like! They continue to get their nutrition from milk until they are one. My daughter hated being spoon fed, and flatly refused after just two days. It’s all about giving baby back control over what is put in their mouths - maybe your son had some sort of incident with his spoonfeeding recently that put him off?!? It is possible to move to baby led weaning after the normal weaning process has started but you’d have to read up on the details - get a copy of this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-led-Weaning -Helping-Your-Baby/dp/0091923808 for more info. Best of luck x
