IMDB rating: 7.60 Plot: Set in Kansas during the early 1900s, a teen-aged Native American boy (newcomer Winter Fox Frank) is taken from his family and forced to attend a distant Indian « training » school to assimilate into White society. When he escapes to return to his family, Sam Franklin (Wes Studi), a bounty hunter of Cherokee descent, is hired to find and return him to the institution. Franklin, a former Indian scout for the U.S. Army, has renounced his Native heritage and has adopted the White Man’s way of life, believing it’s the only way for Indians to survive. Along the way, a tragic incident spurs Franklin’s longtime nemesis, the famous « Indian Fighter » Sheriff Henry McCoy (J. Kenneth Campbell), to pursue both Franklin and the boy. |

Why do so many Americans think India is our ally?
During the Cold War, India was allied with the Soviet Union and opposed almost everything that the West did. They were willing to help the Soviet military reach the oil fields of the Middle East, which would at best brought oil prices to astronomical prices, if gas shortage wouldn’t have been in issue, and it would almost certainly have been. Pakistan is our actual ally. They were the ones who were supplying the weapons we gave them to the Mujahideen, who were sending young Soviet men home maimed, their faces destroyed beyond recognition, in body bags to their mothers, which along with other factors (such as the God-sent Chernobyl disaster), brought the Soviet Union down. At the time, Zia al Haq was the president of Pakistan. He was very, very pro-American and was educated at American military schools when he started training as an officer in the Pakistani army. Most of their leaders have been very pro-American. On the contrary, India has had a lot of anti-American leaders who do nothing but try to stir up conflict in that region.
Indians are a bunch of America-hating, cow-worshipping bastards. The Pakistanis are mostly good people.
I don’t know how much money we send to India, but if I was president, not one cent would go to that country. I don’t give a damn that a lot of them live in boxes in dumps, that is their own problem.
because when they go on the phone for tech support or customer service they talk to a person in india with a laptop.

the people in india, for the most part, don’t care one way or the other about america. as for the government, they will do whatever they feel is most beneficial to them. which is exactly what we do.

Indians don’t worship cows, their religion simply tells them they can become cows, so they don’t kill them, either.
Indians are not our enemies and we all probably like a bunch of Indians, which is why we consider the country friendly. The people are, at least those I know.
